WTAJ Launches New “Loving, Living, Local” Campaign Committed to Community

Televisions across Central Pennsylvania came alive Super Bowl Sunday Night with a new catchy jingle. WTAJ-TV, owned by Nexstar Media Group, based out of Altoona, PA, just launched a brand-new campaign committed to community called “Loving, Living, Local.”

The campaign, which launched during the 2nd half of the biggest and most heavily viewed sporting event of the year, Super Bowl 53, is all about the positive things happening in the 10-county viewing area that WTAJ serves every day. We’ve decided as a station to forego the doom and gloom and instead, focus on the people, events, and other special stories that make Central PA unique and exciting.

“There are so many great things right here in our community. WTAJ News puts a spotlight on many of the people, places and happenings that make Central Pennsylvania special.” says Phil Dubrow, Vice President and General Manager of WTAJ.

This new commitment to community and positive local news starts immediately with our broadcast following Super Bowl 53. You can watch WTAJ’s award-winning newscasts daily Monday thru Friday from 5:00-7:00 a.m., 12:00-12:30 p.m., 4:00-5:00 p.m., 5:00-6:30 p.m., and 11:00-11:35 p.m.
