Walmart evacuated after bomb threat

Local News

Police in Centre County are looking into a bomb threat at the Walmart on Benner Pike in State College.

The whole business was evacuated on Sunday night as officers searched the building. People were let back in shortly after.

We’re told this incident is still being investigated. Officials are trying to figure out if this has any relation to the other threats in Centre County last week.

You may remember the two bomb threats made against the Walmart on North Atherton Street in State College.

That incident came just a day after police responded to another threat at the SPE Federal Credit Union in Ferguson Township.

Again, police are still trying to determine if the incident from Sunday night is related to the recent threats in the area.
