The UPMC Altoona Foundation will host the 5th annual Winter Splendor on Friday, Jan. 18 from 6 to 10:30 p.m. at the Blair County Convention Center.
Funds raised are used to support nursing scholarships for local students pursuing undergraduate and graduate level nursing education. The program includes a reception, cash bar, dinner, live auction, silent auction, and a basket raffle. Amy Mearkle, director of marketing at DelGrosso’s Park and Laguna Splash, is the mistress of ceremonies.
The evening will also include the UPMC Altoona Healthcare Honors awards and a salute to Jerry Murray, current president until January 14, UPMC Altoona and UPMC Bedford.
