Two more Beta Theta Pi brothers sentenced

Tuesday, two former Beta Theta Pi brothers were sentenced for the role they played in pledge Timothy Piazza’s death
Jonah Neuman, was sentenced to 60 days house arrest and 2 years 7 months probation.

Nicholas Kubera Kubera was sentenced to 60 days house arrest and 2 years probation.

Both of them must also pay more than a thousand dollars in fines and additional restitution to the Piazza’s.
We spoke with our legal analyst, Tony De Boef, about the latest in the piazza case.

“The aggravated range or the standard range for sentencing is considered by this judge and that’s how you get jail time or in home detention,”
Tony De Boef, Attorney for De Boef Lucchesi & Associates.  “This judge has been very consistent.”

So far only three brothers have not been sentenced in the beta theta pi hazing case.
