Two arrested in connection to dog shooting

Two people were arrested in connection with a shooting of a dog in Clearfield County last week.

Police arrested 21-year old Skylar Williams and 20-year-old Morgann Reffett.

Lawrence Township police say they were called to Hill street for a dog that was shot in the face on December 30.

According to court documents, home security video identified Williams and Reffett before and after the shooting.

Both were arrested at the Budget Inn Motel in Clearfield Friday.

Police say they found drug paraphernalia and two stolen handguns in the room.

Both face drug and weapons charges.

Williams is also charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
