Trampoline park opening soon in State College

When temperatures are below ten degrees, Moms like Stephanie Perles go to Discovery Space so her son can play and stay warm.

“We love Discovery Space because there are so many things to explore and do and learn while we’re here,” Perles said.

And soon she can add another go-to activity to her list as plans for a new indoor trampoline facility move forward.

Get Air State College  will be located along E. College Ave., providing wall to wall trampolines in a 23,000 sq. ft. facility.

Steven Barako, General Manager of Get Air State College, said “I don’t think the community has anything like this right now. I think this is definitely filling a void that we have for providing family entertainment, family fun.”

“We’ve been expecting it to open and the kids are really excited to try it out. So I guess whenever it opens we’ll go check it out,” Perles said.

Barako said it’s a play park for all ages from toddlers to adults.

“So obviously we have the college campus nearby but we also have many families in this area, many kids and I think this is definitely something that this community needs,” Barako said.

And it will also include unique features like a ninja course and a dodgeball arena; activities that are sure to get you’re body moving.

“We promote a lot of physical fitness. Jumping on trampolines is very tiring, you’d be surprised. We sell our packages either one hour or two hours you can purchase, and after two hours most people are absolutely exhausted,” Barako said.

And when playtime meshes with exercises, well that’s music to any mom’s ears.

“Because they have so much energy and they’re growing and they need to move their bodies and get their energy out. So when you can’t go outside because it’s five degrees, indoor actives are great,” Perles said.

The goal is for Get Air State College to open by this summer.
