Tuesday morning two hundred Centre County “Toys for Tots” volunteers came to the group’s annual kick off breakfast, at the Ramada Hotel in State College.

This launched “Toys for Tots” season in the county, where anyone can donate toys or non-perishable foods to any of the two hundred seventy-five collection bins in the county.
Gene Weller, coordinator for the Centre county “Ttoys for Tots” says this campaign gives families a way to help others in the community.

“Even four year-olds, you know will helps us in one fashion or another, and so they like doing this as a family event, they like being able to give back,” Weller said.

The gift wrapping day is set for the weekend of December 15th at the Penn State Conference Center.
