Tattoos help save pit bulls

Local News

An Arkansas business is helping save pit bulls, one tattoo at a time.

“Empire Ink” in Little Rock is selling $25 paw print tattoos and donating half of the proceeds to “Out of the Ashes Pit-Bull Rescue.” That’s an organization that saves those dogs from death row.

In less than a week at least 40 animal lovers showed up to get the tattoos. The shop’s artist says, as a pit bull owner himself,  this cause is very personal to him.

He also says, even if folks don’t stop by for the tattoos, he hopes his work brings attention to the issue and encourages others to keep an open mind about pit bulls.
