It was Sunday Fun Day for folks in Hollidaysburg. Members of various community groups organized activities for residents and their families at the U.S. Hotel Tavern in the borough. This is the first of a new series of programs to be hosted by the Hollidaysburg Community Partnership.
Board Member Tom Kopriva says, “We are sort of picking ourselves up by our bootstraps. We are trying to organize as individuals, outside of government, to promote our community, and to make it a better place to visit and to raise families.”
Kopriva says the Hollidaysburg Community Partnership has a big event planned for May 18.
It will start with the YMCS’s Diamond Dash walk and run, and will also include sidewalk sales, entertainment, and free train rides.
