Emergency responders got together to make sure kids in our region have a special Christmas.
People spent the day dropping off new, unwrapped toys to help “Stuff the Ambulance” with AMED EMS and Forever Media. The event benefits the toys for tots campaign.
We’re told crews had to bring a second ambulance out because the first one was stuffed so full they could barely get the doors closed!
“There are a lot of families, a lot of deserving children within the area that don’t have a great Christmas and we want to try and fix that by collecting toys today,” Matt Feigh, the chairman, said.
We’re told more than 1,500 toys were collected.
