State Loan Helps Small Business Expand, Add Jobs

A small business in State College is getting a million dollar loan from the state.

The State College electronics manufacturing small business “Homeland Manufacturing Services” is one of three businesses across Pennsylvania earning a state loan.
The $1 million dollars they’re getting will allow them to  expand to a new location and add at least ten new jobs, possibly more.
The President and CEO of “HMS”, says he couldn’t have gotten the loan without help from the Moshannon Valley Economic Development Partnership.
“That really is what is enabling me as a small manufacturing company to find the capital to be able to invest and grow,” Bonislawski said.  
He encourages small business owners to get loan application help from the Moshannon Valley Economic Development Partnership and apply the state loan.
“MHS” hopes to break ground on their new location at the Benner Commerce Park in Benner Township in Spring 2019.  They plan to move in by the end of that year.
