State grant funds innovation for Penn State students

(WTAJ) — A state grant is helping Penn State students innovate the world of manufacturing.

The grant funds a partnership between Morgan Advanced Materials and Technology and Penn State manufacturing Pa Fellowship Program.

Students are paired with area manufacturers to work on research projects to develop new technologies and advance innovation.

Through the program, Penn State has been awarded close to $70 thousand in state grants.
