Monday night, the State College Area School District’s board of directors voted to award bids for a new H-VAC system for Mount Nittany Middle School. The school’s current H-VAC system is 23-years old. The district hopes the replacement system will last at least the next 20 years. The bids total just over 2-million dollars. They include over $900,000 for a de-humidification system– which was added in the wake of the mold outbreak at the school last summer.
