Local News

State College, PA- State College Police are investigating a hit and run that occurred at a car dealership Tuesday night. Police are looking for a maroon truck that they say drove off after hitting a silver mini-van that dealers at Maggi Mitsubishi were looking to sell.

How do they know the truck was maroon? Damage done to the front of the mini-van includes maroon colored scratches.

Police say the hit and run occurred around 10:00 P.M. Tuesday night at Maggi Mitsubishi off the Benner Pike, near the Nittany Mall.

While the dealership did capture surveillance of the truck, they were not able to see its license plate.

Here is the truck’s entire description:

A MAROON DUALLY TRUCK WITH AN EXTENDED CAB AND SILVER RUNNING BOARDS.
OFFICIALS BELIEVE IT COULD BE A CHEVY.

Anyone who recognizes this vehicle is asked to contact State College Police.
