State College has declared that the community is under a snow emergency. The snow emergency was issued Saturday at 5 p.m.

The State College Public Works Department will continue to remove snow from on-street parking spaces in the Borough.

The “No Parking: 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.” and the “No Parking: Snow Removal Zones” restrictions will be strongly enforced on all streets. During this time, NO on-street parking permissions will be granted.

Residents are being asked to remove all cars from on-street parking so that crews can remove any snow on the road.

Any cars that violate the parking restrictions and all other non-PA Vehicle Code Violations could face ticketing and towing.

Ordinance Enforcement wants to remind residents to clear all sidewalks of snow and ice within 24 hours after the storm has ended.
