This week is startup week at Penn State, and aspiring entrepreneurs are learning how they can build a business in our region.
Monday, students went to “Startup Market” a business fair with information about grants, loans, technology, and other resources offered by penn state and local businesses.
Students we spoke to say it’s an eye opening experience.
“This week kind of provides me with some knowledge and guidance in figuring out exactly what I want to do with my career and just kind of broadens my options more,” Quinn Logush, Agriculture Business Management Major at Penn State, said.
More than 60 different activities are going on for startup week at University Park,
including livestream panel discussions where business owners from around the country share tips.
Nine other commonwealth campuses including Penn State Dubois and Penn State Altoona are also having activities for startup week.
