On May 9th, a special gift from a business in Clearfield County was given to help cancer patients right here at home.
Johnson Motors in DuBois, Clearfield County donated more than $13,000 to the Bob Perks fund.
This non-profit was created to help ease financial hardships on families battling cancer. Johnson Motors
owner, Bob Johnson, says it’s important to give back to those in the community who need it most.
“This money stays in Clearfield County and i think we need to build this county to make it profitable for Bob Perks to be able to give money”, said Bob Johnson.
The Bob Perks Fund has distributed more than $1.7 million in Blair, Centre, Clearfield and Huntingdon counties over the past decade.
