Support for the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh is pouring in from all over the country, after Saturday’s shooting. A Johnstown t-shirt printing company is raising money for the victims of the attack.
The American Eagle Screenprint and Embroidery say they sold 300 “stronger than hate” shirts in the first three hours of sale on today, and they’re just getting started.
A quiet fall weekday at Central Park in Johnstown.
Just across the street though at American Eagle Screenprint and Embroidery…
Things have been busy.
“We’ve been getting online orders constantly all from Florida, Georgia, Tennesse, California, Arizona, you name it,” Bradley Michael, Lead Graphic Designer, with the American Eagle Screenprint and Embroidery, said.
People have been coming to the store from all over the state for this shirt, emptying out racks.
“They’re doing a good thing, I mean you have to love in this world instead of hate, “Jennifer Malisko, Johnstown resident said. “I mean love will always win out.”
She says she may not be from Pittsburgh, but it’s still important to support those grieving a few hours west, “The more people that wear the shirts, hopefully we’ll get the message out.”
The small business plans to keep ordering more shirts as long as the demand is there.
