Several charged for tampering with fire hydrants in Bedford

BEDFORD, Pa. (WTAJ) — A number of people, including several minors, are being charged after opening fire hydrants throughout Bedford Township and Bedford Borough.

According to state police, nearly 247,000 gallons of water has been lost, valued over $3,200.

Anyone with damage to their home or business are being asked to call police.
