A Clearfield County man pleaded guilty and was sentenced for his role in a deadly crash.

In July 2017 Gregory Millinder jr. from Madera was driving his 2012 Jeep Wrangler Southbound on Route 53.   He lost control and hit the back end of a Chevy Corvette, then hit a Chevy Bel Air head on. That killed a Bel Air passenger, 70-year old Mary Caprio. She was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of that car, Gary Stover was airlifted to UPMC Altoona.

Both people in the Corvette were also taken to UPMC Altoona. Police determined Millinder was under the influence at the time. He was sentenced to 6 to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.
