Road work continues from Aaron Driver to Park Avenue in State College.

The entire project will take place through 2019 and includes relocation of numerous utility lines, relocation of sewer and water lines, drainage improvements, curbing, sidewalks, ADA ramps, traffic signal upgrades, new concrete median, and paving.

From October 15 through October 21, drivers can expect the following:

From West Aaron Drive to West North Hills Place:
     *No work anticipated

From West North Hills Place to Cherry Lane:
*A long-term traffic pattern is in place closing the far, left lane heading toward the University. When the contractor is not working, two lanes will remain open for inbound and outbound traffic. When they are working, traffic will be reduced to one lane for outbound traffic.

From Cherry Lane to Hillcrest Avenue:
*The contractor will be installing new water line in this area. Traffic control will consist of daylight lane closures maintaining traffic to at least one lane in each direction while the contractor is working.

From Hillcrest Avenue to Park Avenue:
*Verizon has been on-site performing wire installation and splicing between Hillcrest Avenue and Park Avenue. Traffic outbound from the University may be reduced to one lane.
