Reward raised in albino deer shooting

Local News

The reward for information about an albino deer, recently killed in Westmont, has been raised thanks to an anonymous donation.

Officials say the deer was shot with an apparent pellet-gun in the area of Bates Drive in Upper Yoder Township.

Representative Frank Burns and the Cambria County Crime Stoppers initially offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, but after receiving a $500 donation, it is now $1,500.

If you know any information, you’re asked to call the Cambria County Crime Stoppers.
