Penn State has filed a lawsuit in Centre County Court to buy the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house.
The fraternity was closed after the February 2017 death of pledge Timothy Piazza.
Tom Kline, a lawyer for Piazza’s parents, tells WTAJ that the lawsuit is “an encouraging development.”
Kline tells WTAJ that Penn State should be able to put the building to a proper educational use to advance the purposes of the university.
