Police looking for bank robbery suspect

Logan Township Police are looking for the man accused of robbing the First National Bank on East Pleasant Valley Blvd. in Altoona Friday afternoon.

Officers said a man passed a note to the teller that said he had a gun and demanded money. We’re told the suspect then fled the scene.

Officials told us the exact amount of money taken has not yet been verified by bank officials.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s. He’s around 6’0″ and weighs 180-190 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, sunglasses and a Pittsburgh Steelers baseball cap.
