Pizza shop owner facing more charges

Local News

A local businessman is facing more charges for allegations of indecent assault of employees.

37-year-old Craig Mazzarese owns pizza shops in Gallitzin and Portage. A 17-year-old employee told police between July 2017 and August 2018 that he engaged her in unwanted sexual conversation and physically assaulted her during an attempt of sexual contact.

She says it was in the basement of his Portage restaurant. The PA Attorney General’s Office already filed indecent assault charges against Mazzarese on the allegations of two other employees who were minors.

Those were allegations of assault that happened while they worked at the Portage location between 2016 and 2017.
