Personal Care Home must pay restitution

An  area personal care home that closed unexpectedly,  must repay about $35,000 dollars to former residents.

On Monday, the state attorney general announced the settlement with Meadowview Manor, in Mcveytown, Mifflin County.

Thirteen people will receive restitution, ranging from $2,000 to $3300. The settlement also bars Meadowview’s owner from owning or operating another personal care home.

Meadowview closed in J January 2016.
