MONROEVILLE, Pa. (AP) — A Pennsylvania mall has been evacuated following a shooting.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Monroeville and Pitcairn police were investigating a shooting at Monroeville Mall Friday night. The mall is about 17 miles (27.36 kilometers) east of Pittsburgh and was placed on lockdown before authorities evacuated it. The lockdown was lifted about 9 p.m.

Authorities found at least four bullet holes in the glass doors of a Macy’s entrance and evidence markers were placed in a roped-off area outside the department store.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.

Monroeville Mall tweeted that they were aware of the incident and police cleared “the mall out of an abundance of caution.”
