PennDOT to start work on Route 333

MIFFLINTOWN, JUNIATA Co., Pa. — PennDOT is reporting road construction to begin on Route 333 on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

The work zone will stretch through Thompsontown and into Delaware Township.

Work is set to include drain improvements, guide rail upgrade, concrete repairs, paving, and other miscellaneous tasks.

Lanes headed west will be closed. The eastbound lanes will have one lane going each direction, meaning two lanes are going down to one.

Work is scheduled to be completed in late August.

You’re asked to be aware and use caution using 333 and while driving through the work area.
