A Penn State fraternity has been suspended while the university investigates a serious student injury and alleged alcohol misuse.
Theta Chi will not be able to recuit members, hold activiities, participate in university events or host social gatherings until that suspension is lifted.
Students we spoke to say they’re suprised.
“I live on South Allen Street, so I actually walk by that frat, pretty much every day,” Eric Albaugh, Student at Penn State., said “They seem like one of the more quite ones, I wouldn’t have guessed that they would be one of the frats getting in trouble.”
“When people go out with the intention of getitng obliterated and thinking that they’re invincible I think it’s dangerous, that’s why you have to friends when you go out, people that look after you,” Brendan Buck, Student at Penn State, said.
Penn State says Theta Chi is cooperating with the investigation.
