PA company hiring furloughed workers

Local News

A Pittsburgh business is offering furloughed federal workers a chance to earn some money during the government shutdown.
Larry Barasch owns 123shirt.com. He tells WTAJ so far he’s hired 4 TSA workers, paying them $18 an hour.
They’re printing “Stronger Than Hate” T-shirts with the money raised going to the Tree of Life Synagogue Victim’s Fund. Barasch says he’s just trying to do the right thing. In December his company donated $18,000 to the Tree of Life Synagogue.

If you’re a federal worker who would like work for Barasch, you may contact him at 412-279-2634.
