DUBOIS, Pa. (WTAJ)– A new shop in downtown DuBois is stocked with an assortment of unique items picked just for you.

Junk Dealer’s Daughter is named after Kathleen Clement.

She said her father owned a scrapyard and she’s been picking for as long as she can remember.

“I’ve done it my whole life ever since I was 14 going to auctions and everything else,” Kathleen Clement said.

With a hobby like hers, her son Darius Clement wanted a way to share it with others.

“I had to open a store because my mom, like she said, she goes and picks and she has a unique eye, so had to facilitate mom’s picking,” Darius Clement said.

So now it’s stocked with antiques, vintage pieces and other interesting finds his mother picks.

Now waiting to be picked by the customers who come in.

“It’s nice to see the pieces together, and it’s nice to see them go out the door knowing that somebody truly loves what they got here,” Kathleen said.

Junk Dealer’s Daughter is located in downtown DuBois and is open Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
