New rescue truck for local humane society

Local News

On Saturday the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society in Altoona received a new rescue truck thanks to a loan from a group of local donors.
The truck cost the shelter about $21,000. That is a great deal because originally, due to heating and cooling options, it cost $240,000.
The donors hosted a party for volunteers at the shelter later in the night.
Lenny Fiore says it’s a thankless job so he wanted to thank them for their community service.

Those that contributed to the donation fund include Lenny Fiore,Penny Moore, Lee McGill, Lisa Fry & Jim Blodis, Paul & Diane Lang and numerous anonymous donors.
