Multiple crashes on I-99, officials warn of icy roads

A lane of I-99 in Centre County shut down at this hour due to a vehicle crash. It happened at mile marker 60.4 in Worth Township.

Police tell us one car caught fire, and no one was injured.

There is also a multiple-vehicle crash on Boal Avenue/North Atherton Street at Exit I-99 South US 220/US 322 West – Altoona. The ramp is closed at this time. Details are limited.

PennDOT and State Police are warning drivers today to be extra careful on the roads because the roads are icy.
