More than 86,000 diapers donated in DuBois for Hurricane Harvey victims

Local News

The diaper drive for Hurricane Harvey victims has come to an end and now the numbers are in!
The community donated 86,326 between all eight drop off locations in town. There were also 684 packs of wipes, for a total of 102,600 within the packs.

The donations were packed up at the Goodwill distribution center in Falls Creek and then loaded onto the truck provided by Dilullo transport.  Owner Mike Dilullo will be driving the truck than 15 hundred miles-

“DuBois is a great community and has always stepped up anytime anyone is in need. Our community is always willing to help out,” says Dilullo.

Dilullo says he will be leaving on Sunday. Organizer Melissa Bortzer says she never imagined the drive to grow as large as it has.
