More I-99 work about to begin in Centre County

CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — PennDOT will be doing work on I-99 starting Monday, April 15.

From the Route 322 merge point near Port Matilda to Atherton Street, there will be a lane closure going both ways.

Going north, the right lane will close from around 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily.

Going south, the left lane will close from around 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily.

The pavement patching and sealing is expected to be completed before the end of June.

PennDOT encourages drivers to “Know before they go” and to check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting the 511PA website here.
