Local News

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — State police announced they’re still searching for a man that was last seen in September, and now they’re placing a cash reward on the table.

David Simon was last seen at the Post Office in Confluence in September, according to state police.

David Simon, 81 was reported missing to state police in Somerset Oct. 19. His last known address is in Boswell, though police were told he hasn’t lived there in approximately a year.

He had an interaction with the Johnstown Police Department in March where they towed his vehicle, and his vehicle is still at the tow yard.

Simon hasn’t withdrawn any money since April and was possibly last seen in September at the Post Office in Confluence.

It’s believed Simon may be living out of his white Chevrolet sedan, police said.

Anyone with information on Simon’s whereabouts may anonymously contact the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers Toll-Free at 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477) or online.

Anyone with information that leads to the location of Simon is eligible for a cash reward.
