Man gives police “fake name” that turned out to be wanted

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, Pa., (WTAJ) — Police responded to a call about possible drug activity involving a car with Ohio plates.

They found the vehicle at Sapp Brothers Truck Stop and found a man, later identified as Chase Abbott.

Abbott initially gave the police a fake name that just so happened to be wanted.

He finally revealed his real name and Police have charged him with giving false identification.

Abbott’s brother Brett was found hiding near the showers. He was wanted and was arrested and placed in Clearfield County Jail.
