Man charged with burglary, domestic assault, police ask for public’s help

State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for several charges.

According to Police, Brett Sanderson, 30, of Salix was charged with domestic violence, burglary, and assault after an incident occurred November 23 in Cambria County. Sanderson held a knife to the victim’s neck, choked her, and punched her in the face after dragging her through the yard.

Sanderson is described as 6’2″, 190 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes.

He is considered armed and dangerous and has ties to the Johnstown and Pittsburgh area. Police believe he is driving a black 2017 Mazda 3 bearing Pennsylvania registration KJN2432.

Anyone with information on Sanderson’s whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Ebensburg State Police at 814-471-6500.
