AURORA, ILLINOIS (WTAJ) — You’re going to want to check those burgers and steaks before you start grilling this Memorial Day.
The USDA is recalling more than 62,000 lbs. of beef due to E.coli concerns. The agency is concerned about 62,112 lbs. of raw beef products packaged at the Aurora Packing Co.
More than 40 products involved, including short ribs, brisket and ribeyes have been shipped across the country. The items have the establishment number, “EST. 788,” with the USDA inspection mark.
The USDA notes that they have not seen any reported cases of illness related to the recall.
