Local VA medical center partners with St Francis University

The James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center has partnered with Saint Francis University Men’s Basketball team to recognize veterans during the 100th remembrance of World War I, November 11th and Veterans Day.

“We are excited that a prestigious university like Saint Francis has dedicated themselves to recognizing our Veterans,” said Ms. Sigrid Andrew, James E. Van Zandt VAMC Director, “community partnerships like this one are extremely important to our facility and our Veterans.”

All Veterans will get in free during the following games.

Friday, November 9th: Men’s Basketball vs Morgan State at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, November 10th: Football vs Central Connecticut at 12:00 p.m.

Saturday, November 10th: Volleyball vs Fairleigh Dickinson at 5:00 p.m.

Additionally, during Friday’s Men’s Basketball Game, VA staff will be on hand to provide services ranging from Enrollment and Eligibility, MyHealtheVet, Transition Care Management, and the Dubois Vet Center.
