BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Blair County Sheriff’s Office will not be authorizing gun permits on Wednesday.

The Conceal Carry License “gun permit” system is getting an upgrade and won’t be available.

The sheriff’s office plans for the machine to be back in service and operational by Thursday.

They say the upgrade is necessary and will improve the county’s ability to service the public.
