The Pennsylvania Liberty Alliance (PLA), a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization, presented over 30,000 signed petitions from Pennsylvania homeowners to Governor Wolf, urging him to support for a plan to eliminate school property taxes.

PLA volunteers held a news conference Tuesday in the state Capital Rotunda with school property tax elimination advocates from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. PLA’s Ron Boltz, Jim Rodkey, as well as Senator David G. Argall, Senator Mike Folmer, and Representative Frank Ryan spoke at the event.

“One taxpayer who loses their home due to ever-increasing property taxes is one too many,” said Boltz. “We want to send a clear message to the governor and the General Assembly that this issue is only going to get worse unless we have a concerted effort to truly take care of this issue once and for all.”
