One voter called in to tell us that so many people turned out in her area, that they actually ran out of paper ballots and folks had to cast their votes electronically.
We spoke to local voters about what’s driving them to the polls today. Here’s what they had to say:
“I have a strong feeling about the way the country is going and I think I gotta vote to have a say and to voice my opinion,” said voter Carol Barber.
Another voter, Andrew McMullin said, “I vote every election because that’s a privilege. It’s not a chore. It’s not anything. It’s a privilege you should vote.”
“I felt very emotional when I voted I was almost filling up because I feel that the candidates I voted for are so good and need to be elected,” said voter Emily Padamonsky.
