Johnstown man taken into custody after shots fired

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — Police responded to shots fired just after 6:30 a.m. on April 30, 2019. It happened in the area of the 700 block of both Coleman and Park Avenue.

Police located shell casings and while investigating, they were notified of someone at the hospital who may have been involved.

The man was identified as Aaron D’Andre Moore, 24, from Noth Carolina. He was residing on Coleman Avenue in Johnstown.

Moore stated to police that he was shot at and ran away and in the process, he broke his ankle and that’s why he was at the ER.

Police found out, after witness and victim accounts, that it was Moore who did the shooting.

No one else was injured and Moore was placed in the Cambria County Prison.
