Johnstown man leads police, marshals on chase before capture

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — Police helped assist the U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force in pursuit of a wanted man.

Quysim Childs, 27, from Johnstown, was wanted for failure to appear in court on several charges, including a firearms case. He fled from the Task Force in a car before crashing on the 1000 block of Ash Street.  

Childs proceeded to take off on foot and led officers on a chase through the Moxham neighborhood before being caught on Cypress Avenue. He’s currently in the Cambria County Jail.
