An investigation is underway after a suspicious body was found in Johnstown Saturday night after reports of shots being fired.
Cambria County 9-1-1 says gunshots were reported just after 8pm near McMillen and Oak Streets. They say about an hour later the Cambria County Coroner was called to the same area for a suspicious body.
Coroner Jeff Lees says the body was found on a porch on Oak Street.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
No word on whether the shooting and the suspicious death are connected at this time.
An autopsy is being performed Sunday morning. A press conference is expected to be scheduled for Monday.
This latest investigation is close to where 18 year-old Tavion Williamson was killed last Sunday, His death was ruled a homicide.
