Hundreds of people in Elk County came together to raise money for a man fighting a difficult diagnosis.
It was all part of the “Spring Haul for Paul” event.
Paul Weaver has stage four cancer and needs help paying for medical treatment.
On Saturday the community helped raise money for him by holding a benefit dice run. It’s a 30-mile trek on an ATV or UTV. It takes about 5-6 hours to finish.
“This is all private property we’re riding on,” organizer Lenny Snelick said. “These people have opened up their property. We’re going to get some mud on us and there will be some hills to climb, but it will be fun.”
About 300 people showed up to the event.
