How to report a scam

The PA Attorney General’s office is holding 32 community events across the state this week to hear concerns, complaints and offer assistance. For the list of locations and times for the events, click here

The one listed for our area is from 10 a.m. to noon at the Jonestown Senior Activities Center at 550 Main Street in Johnstown.

March 3rd through 9th is Consumer Protection Week around the country. It’s a time to help people understand their consumer rights and make informed decisions about money.

In Pennsylvania in 2019, Pennsylvania’s Bureau of Consumer Protection got 25,000 complaints and saved PA consumers more than 8 million dollars.The AG’s office says this money came from remittance, mediation and loan forgiveness.
