The men’s basketball team at Penn State Altoona won’t just be driving down the court tomorrow night. The players along with the rest of the athletics department are also holding a special drive to help kids with cancer.
On Brian Morden Foundation Night, they’ll be collecting donations for childhood cancer patients at Pennsylvania hospitals.
“Think of it if it was your child and what joy just a little thing like crayons or a coloring book could help make a child’s day better, day brighter when they’re going through this traumatic experience,” said David McGreal, Head Coach, PSU Altoona Men’s Basketball Team.
If you’d like to donate, consider giving games, crafts, puzzles, toys, books, and other items children can use while they’re in the hospital.
