Gun permit system down for repairs longer than planned

Local News

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — The license to carry “gun permit” system will be down for repairs, longer than planned.

The system was scheduled to be upgraded yesterday, but the Blair County Sheriff’s Office says they’re dealing with some compatibility delays with the equipment.

We’re told the system will not process any licenses at this time.

The department is working to fix the issue and are hoping to have the system ready and operational tomorrow.
